The focus is not on trends or props. It’s on your child, exactly as they are.
Keep it simple.
Solid tones, soft textures, and minimal patterns photograph best in black and white. Avoid logos, graphics, or anything overly busy.
Neutrals always work well, but the most important thing is that your child feels comfortable and like themselves.
Little Shrimps sessions are designed for children of all ages.
That said, they tend to work especially well once a child can sit independently and engage naturally in front of the camera.
Every age brings something different, and that’s the point.
Each session is 10 minutes per child.
The pace is intentional. It keeps things easy, natural, and focused without overwhelming your child.
Booking is based on the number of children:
1 child = 1 session
2 children = 2 sessions
3 children = 2 sessions (discount applied)
4 children = 3 sessions (discount applied)

Each session includes 10–40+ high-resolution digital images.
All portraits are delivered in black and white.

Yes.
Black and white is the foundation of Little Shrimps. It removes distraction and allows the focus to stay on expression, detail, and emotion.
That’s completely okay.
The sessions are designed to meet children where they are. There’s no pressure to perform or behave a certain way.
Some of the best images come from in-between moments.
Little Shrimps sessions are primarily focused on individual personality portraits, but we’re always happy to grab a few sibling, cousin, or friend shots together.
We can’t promise the “perfect” group photo since it’s not our specialty, usually one little is smiling while another is crying or putting someone in a chokehold, but we’ll absolutely do our best to capture the magic in the chaos.All sessions are booked through our Session calendar.
You’ll select your date and location, and book directly from there.

Yes.
Your images are high-resolution and intended to be printed, framed, and kept.
Deposits and sessions are non-refundable unless your time slot is filled. We are, however, happy to transfer your session credit to the next time we’re in your area if you need to reschedule.
